The Kick-off Meeting (KoM) of the YoungMinds project took place on 20–21 November 2024 in Zadar, Croatia, bringing together all project partners for the official launch of the project. Hosted by Prirodoslovno grafička škola, Zadar, the meeting marked an important step towards establishing a shared vision and a strong collaborative framework.
Throughout the two-day meeting, partners introduced their organisations and discussed the project’s objectives, work plan, and roles and responsibilities. Particular focus was placed on the project’s mission to promote young people’s mental health through a film-based educational approach.
Key discussions addressed project management and quality assurance, the exploration of mental health topics through films, the development of training materials for teachers, and strategies for dissemination and community engagement.
The meeting concluded with the agreement on next steps and upcoming deadlines, ensuring a coordinated and effective start to the project. The YoungMinds consortium looks forward to working collaboratively to create meaningful and lasting impact in the fields of mental health and education.
