On the 1st and 2nd of April, the 3rd transnational meeting of the YoungMinds project brought together all partners to dive into the implementation of classroom activities and community events that will take mental health education to the next level!
A major focus of the discussions was on the practical integration of mental health topics into classes and the school’s activities. Ideas were exchanged on how topromote interactive and engaging activities, ensuring they resonate with students and help break down mental health stigma.

Equally important was the planning of upcoming community events, designed to actively involve teachers, students, and parents in fostering a supportive environment for mental health awareness. These events will be a chance for the wider community to get involved, share knowledge, and create a stronger support network for young people.
In a collaborative brainstorming session, participants also generated ideas for creating dynamic dissemination materials such as posters to:
- improve project’s communication and dissemination in its social media channels,
- spread the message even further, and in the context of the “Mental Health on Screen Events”
The aim is to design eye-catching, thought-provoking materials that will make the topic of mental health more accessible and impactful for all involved.
Looking ahead, the next phase will see the roll-out of these classroom activities and the organisation of more events, strengthening the mental health support structures within schools and communities. With mental health challenges on the rise, the YoungMinds project is leading the charge to ensure that mental health education becomes as integral as any other subject in schools.
